Jay, a Tarot reader & Diviner for more than 25 years seeks to balance Aché (Universal Life-force Energy) through a combination of tarot reading, spirit communication, intuition and life mapping. Jay was called to follow Spirit on a visit to the Florida swamplands when a Santera & Palera (priestess of the Afro-Cuban religions of Santeria & Palo Kimbiza) clarified his life’s purpose – to serve the paths of Palo Kimbiza & Santeria; religions of empowerment to generations of Caribbean slaves, but once closed to whites. More recently Jay heard the call of spirit & initiated Vodou Kanzo Hounsi in New Orleans under the guidance of Manbo Sallie Ann Glassman. Jay believes that through the Lukumi Tarot, with imagery from all three paths of Palo, Santeria & now Vodou, he sees more clearly the workings of Aché. As a Palero, he works with Earth’s primal energies & with the Spirits of the Departed, who often speak through his readings. All readings seek to balance Aché.
