Spirit Portraits by Carolyn
A spirit portrait is an artist’s interpretation of a spirit using symbol and color to describe the essence of the spirit. Carolyn started doing spirit portraits in 2004 as a gift to some friends. What she noticed was that the symbols were already there; all she had to do was to bring them to the surface.
Your spirit portraits are watercolor renditions in a size that’s easy to frame. Remember though that a spirit portrait may vary by artist and may vary from year to year since the spirit is always growing. Carolyn will provide a sheet of suggested meanings of symbols and colors to assist you with interpetation. Don’t take her word for it though! Use this as a spring board for your own interpretation and as a foundation for self discovery.
Your spirit portrait is a reminder of the magnificence of your essence even on those days that you may doubt yourself. Your spirit portrait should be an inspiration to continue to grow and develop your beautiful spirit. Know that spirit portrait is created in love. Hopefully, it will be a part of your continuing journey to self discovery and growth.
Portraits are $20.00 for a 6x4 watercolor, include a spirit reading, and will last 20 minutes.
